Buyer

When I help you in your home search, my aim always is to assist you in finding the home that best fits your goals, in terms of price and value, space and layout, location, finishes, and other factors. You’ll find that I am ready and willing to share as much information as you need to make informed decisions about locations, the surrounding areas, specific properties, and more. I can estimate to closing costs, recommend reputable and reliable sources for financing, legal advice, or property inspections. And I’ll be glad to point you toward great restaurants and fun activities in the area, too.

Whether coastal Delaware is just one possible destination you’re investigating, or you’ve decided that you’re ready to move as soon as you see the right property — the search for your next home will proceed at the pace that fits your needs, without pressure to make decisions before you are ready. Not sure whether you want to be in a new home or one that has been previously owned? I am ready to show you both so you can compare the options and decide which is best for you.

In Delaware, real estate agents are permitted to work exclusively as buyer’s agents, exclusively as seller’s agents, or — if both buyer and seller agree — as disclosed dual agents. I have experience in all three roles. I pledge to be honest and open with all parties, disclose any known conditions or defects in a property that might affect its suitability for you, and keep confidential any private information I may have acquired that would harm either party’s bargaining position, as required by law and the Realtors® Code of Ethics.

Real estate commissions are paid by the seller of the property, not the buyer, so there is no expense to you for my services.

“A Realtor® is not a salesperson, they’re a matchmaker.
They introduce people to homes until they fall in love with one.
Then they’re a wedding planner.”
